Job Description:

Job Summary: The cook is responsible for cooking and preparing food according to recipes and production guidelines while adhering to food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures. The ideal candidate has previous cook experience, enjoys working in a busy restaurant, and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a cook.
  • Ability to walk and work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push, pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds.
  • Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware, and utilizing safety PPE.
  • Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods.
  • Ability to operate and use all necessary equipment to safely perform duties.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Food Handlers Card.
