Care's mission is to provide access to quality health care for Los Angeles County's vulnerable and low-income communities and residents.The Business Intelligence Developer III position works on projects to meet business application needs. This position is a key contributor in creating and supporting standard and ad hoc reports to IT and Business Senior Management. Responsibilities include:

• Working with Business Analysts and key business contacts to translate functional and technical specifications into a comprehensive reporting design.
• Assisting in requirements analysis, data analysis, data mapping, report development & testing, report modifications, and documentation.
• Determining and developing strategy and framework for consistent report standards.
• Performing research/audit and analyzing high-level complex/advanced data.
• Defining, designing, and developing new/enhanced reports in support of strategic planning, portfolio and project management.
• Acting as a Subject Matter Expert and serving as a resource and mentor for other staff.Duties
• Liaison between I.T. Business Intelligence developmental team and business clients.
• Design of database architectures, data warehouses, and data migrations.
• Creating business intelligence packages and implementing user reporting solutions.
• Meeting with technical leaders to document and vet business requirements.
• Performing project management activities to drive projects to completion on schedule.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining ETL (extract, transform, and load) solutions.
• Providing training, recommending process improvements, and mentoring junior staff.Education RequiredBachelor's Degree (or equivalent education and/or experience may be considered).Education PreferredMaster's DegreeExperienceRequired:
• At least 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence and OBIEE reporting development.
• At least 5 years of experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
• Hands-on experience developing reports using various tools and processes.SkillsRequired:
• Knowledge of creating Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) technology.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
• Strong communication skills to work with the project team.
• Advanced knowledge of applicable hardware/software configurations and programming.
