member of the Galileo X Partnership team, the Sr. Account Executive
drives growth by building strong K-12 school district partnerships.
Through conferences, campaigns, and your network, you'll share the
joy of Galileo's camps, leveraging your understanding of California
K-12 funding to support unduplicated students. You'll manage new
and renewal contracts, forecast pipelines, and share insights to
foster growth. Collaborate with field operations for smooth
district implementation, highlight camp moments to encourage
renewals, and solve challenges. YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR Driving
Galileo X's impact & growth through:
- Creating and growing a strong school district partnerships
pipeline for our newest product offerings in an emerging K-12
market through diverse strategies, including attending conferences,
deploying outbound campaigns, and leveraging your professional
network.
- Sharing the joy and magic Galileo's camps create with
prospective school district partners through engaging and
interactive sales conversations at every stage of the sales and
renewals process.
- Leveraging your nuanced understanding of K-12 funding in
California (LCAP, ELO-P, etc..) to empower district partnerships
predominantly serving unduplicated students.
- Accurately and transparently managing pipeline forecasting
while sharing learnings with your team to both empower revenue
growth and inform iterative product changes.
- Managing the school district contracting process, including RFP
execution & submission.
- Customize and iterate on core camp programs in partnership with
the field operations, program design & curriculum teams needed to
support strategic partner goals & deliver expceptional camps.
Celebrating & sharing the impact of camp through:
- Collaborating with the field operations team & school district
leaders in the months leading up to camp on everything from camp
goals, schedules, rostering, communications & more.
- Highlight the camp's exceptional moments to your school
district partners to empower renewal while skillfully serving as a
problem solver for your district partners.
- Amplifying camp's impact by facilitating camp visits for both
PR & possible future partners.YOU ARE

projects.COMPENSATIONWe anticipate total compensation (including
base pay and commission) for this Full-Time, exempt position to be
$120,000 - $170,000 annually. Exact compensation may vary and will
be based on multiple factors, including geography and professional

more!WORK LOCATIONRemote, work-from-home position located in
Southern California. Employment is possible in the following
states: California.Employees located in the San Francisco Bay area
adhere to a hybrid office and work-from-home policy. Galileo
Headquarters is located at 111 Myrtle St, Ste 300, Oakland, CA
94607. SCHEDULE & TIME COMMITMENTThis is a full-time position,
averaging 40 hours per week. While we prioritize work-life balance,
there may be times when additional hours are necessary to meet
deadlines and ensure the success of our programs. Additionally, HQ
staff are expected to visit camp locations from June through August
to experience camp first-hand and support our teams on the ground;
10-15% travel may be required for those located outside of a camp
territory.Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or
business development, with demonstrated success selling early-stage
educational products with six-figure contracts.
- Deep understanding of California K-12 funding mechanisms,
including LCAP and ELO-P, and their application to support
unduplicated students.
- Proven track record of successful negotiation, engaging and
inspiring prospective partners through effective sales & renewal
conversations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the
ability to articulate the impact and value of Galileo's programs to
diverse stakeholders, and manage the contracting process, including
RFP execution and submission.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with
cross-functional teams, particularly in field operations, to ensure
successful implementation and renewal of partnerships.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address and
resolve challenges faced by school district partners.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM technologies is a
plus
- Willingness to travel up to 25% to attend conferences, meet
with partners and facilitate camp visits. We are committed to
