Volt is immediately hiring for a Press Brake Operator in Gardena, California.

As a Press Brake Operator, you will:

Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal components.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
Adjust machine settings to accommodate different materials, thicknesses, and bend angles.
Perform in-process inspections to ensure part accuracy and quality.
Use measurement tools such as calipers, protractors, and tape measures.
Complete necessary documentation for production and quality records.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
Report machine malfunctions or material issues to supervisors.

This is a full-time Temp-to-Hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience operating a press brake in a manufacturing or sheet metal environment.
The ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform minor machine adjustments.
Willingness to work independently or as part of a team.
Steel-toe/composite shoes (PPE provided).

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st shift (7:00?am - 3:30?pm)

Pay Rate: 18.00 to 22.00 per hour (DOE)
